Battery ElectrolyteĀ is formed with a combination of Water and Sulfuric Acid.
The mix is set to the correct ratio to achieve a Specific Gravity of 1.28 kg/l - suited for Flood Cell Lead Acid battery series.
The Electrolyte is the 'Highway' within a Lead Acid battery, so charged Ions can move freely in both directions between the Anode and Cathode Plates. - Depending on the size / volume of the battery, more than one pack (1 Litre) may be required.
- Battery Electrolyte (Acidic) is a colorless liquid and may have a slight yellow-green tint.
It is soluble in water for a safe clean up, if spilled. -
Note:Ā This product is highly corrosive and is classed as a Dangerous Good for Transportation in Australia - DG7 HAZ 2R CLASS8 PGII UN2796.
